David Sanders comes to Partners with 42 years’ experience as a public school educator, including 37 years as a school principal. He has worked in Kansas, Nevada, and Texas, and has assisted school leaders in the Philippines with educational improvement. Mr. Sanders has worked with students from all socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds and has extensive experience with English learners and students on the autism spectrum.
David has always been a champion for underachieving students and has been recognized for his service by the Association of Texas Professional Educators, Kansas Association of Special Education Administrators and, most recently, by the Kansas School Counselors Association, receiving the “Principal Advocate Award” in 2016-2017.
David holds a B.S. in early childhood and elementary education and M.Ed. in public school administration from the University of North Texas. He also earned superintendent licensure while at North Texas. He is licensed as a teacher, principal, and superintendent in Kansas, Nevada, and Texas.
David has developed a wealth of expertise in teaching and learning from his extensive experience as a public school educator. He has a passion for personal learning and history and has traveled extensively throughout the world.
