Shirl brings to the Partners in School Innovation team rich experiences in the financial and travel sectors, as well as relevant teaching experience.
Shirl is a proud graduate of Jackson State University (one of the oldest Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the South), where she received a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies. She also began working toward her M.A. in Teaching at Belhaven University.
When Shirl is not working, she enjoys attending school and community events and establishing strong partnerships through support and collaboration.
