Partners in School Innovation supports people at all levels of the K-12 public education system – from the superintendent’s office to the classroom – to grow as equity-focused change agents.

Being a change agent means galvanizing colleagues around a shared vision for educational equity, using continuous-improvement processes, and building systems that last.

Our Services

One-to-One and Team Coaching

We help educators strengthen their technical and relational skills in order to bring out the best in their colleagues and themselves. We support them in building robust, sustainable systems for professional learning, core instruction, and leadership.

Partners is skilled at centering the experience of students of color and supporting our partners in the field to do the same.

Coaching runs through all of our services and can be offered as its own service for districts or sites that have a specific challenge they need help with.

Learning Networks

Teams or individuals come together from multiple school sites or districts in order to change something significant for students and families of color.

Networks may focus on specific issues such as Middle Grades Math or culturally responsive teaching, or on broader goals such as strengthening instructional leadership teams. Networks can occur online, in-person, or a hybrid.

As expert network facilitators, Partners staff support participants in setting clear and equitable goals, testing ideas and iterating quickly as a community, and charting a course for improvement.

Community and On-Demand Courses

Our online community aims to build and sustain a national movement to eliminate racial inequities in our schools and ultimately create an education system in which all students thrive.

This space is a place to learn and hone our skills in equity mindsets, adult learning, change management, school transformation, improvement approaches, and leadership.

Intensive School Site Support

Our flagship service model offers the most comprehensive approach with a Partners coach on site 3.5 days per week.

The coach supports teachers and leaders to develop as results-oriented leaders who courageously maintain a focus on equity, align systems for professional learning, and insist on rigorous, culturally responsive instruction.

As teachers and leaders build their skill in our continuous-improvement methods, they assume more and more leadership so they can sustain momentum on their own.
